Minnesota – Two-time Grammy Award winner Melissa Etheridge had control of the
huge crowd the minute she stepped on stage at Moondance Jam 26. A delayed start due to a weather-front built
up the excitement of having Etheridge perform so when she walked out with her
band she was totally embraced by all the energy. Etheridge had a strong smoky voice and showcased
her proficient control of the guitar.
Etheridge has a unique style of syncopated rhythm within her music that kept
her fans engaged and displayed her talent.
Etheridge has maintained her strength as a singer-songwriter, musician
and activist since she came on the scene in 1988.
Etheridge came on to the music scene with her self-titled album and has
released 14 studio albums. The most
recent released album was in 2016 “MEmphis Rock & Soul.” Etheridge has 5 Platinum albums with 3 being
multi-platinum. “Ain’t It Heavy” Nominee/work
Grammy Award for Best Rock Vocal Female Performance in 1993 and “Come to My
Window” in 1995.
MN – Moondance Jammin Country Fest completed a successful weekend of nonstop
music by great entertainers. The
evenings were down right cool but the energy of the crowd heated things
up. Thomas Rhett closed out the weekend at
Moondance Jammin Country Fest Saturday evening. Rhett was named Country Music
Artist for 2017 by iHeart Radio Music Awards.
Rhett made a definite entrance raised high above the stage for opening
act and great lighting for a dramatic effect.
lineup for Saturday night that kept the crowd on their feet throughout the
evening were LANco, William Michael Morgan and Danielle Bradberry. LANco was the opening act performing their
recent single “Greatest Love Story.” Rounding
off the lineup were William Michael Morgan who just finished his tour with Lee
Brice this spring and Danielle Bradbery from Cypress, Texas who had won season
four of NBC’s “The Voice” in 2013.
Jam is now preparing for the 26th year of Rock from July 20-22. Headliners Halestorm, Live and Steve Miller
Band plus a huge list of other great performers non-stop.
MN – The 11th Annual Moondance Jammin Country Fest started off with
a Pre Jam Party with opening act Devon Worley, Maiden Dixie and Parmalee. Thousands of fans were setting up their
campgrounds area early in the day so that they could celebrate the Fest in
Walker, Minnesota. The complete weekend
has a packed lineup through Saturday night.
Moondance has continual music going throughout the grounds. Once the main lineups are done there are
performances at the Lazy Moon Backstage Bar, Moondance Saloon & Grill and
an additional smaller stage; music is non-stop plus multi-choices of food in
the Saloon & Grill and vendors.
evening country performers were Drew Baldridge, Eric Paslay, Dan+Shay and
closing with Old Dominion. The arena was
packed to the brim as Old Dominion closed the evening. Saturday’s lineup starts with LANco at 4pm,
William Michael Morgan, Danielle Bradbery and Thomas Rhett closing at 10pm.
Minnesota – BOSTON played to a fully packed arena at Moondance Jam 25. The 25th anniversary for Moondance
Jam 25 had a non-stop music festival for the weekend and is known as one of the
top country music festivals. Multi-thousands of fans came out to hear the top
musicians from all over the world.
BOSTON’s performance was cut short because of a huge lightning storm
that was passing through the area after some very hot and humid days. Safety for the bands and fans reign top
priority and the right decision was made.
The crowd at the open arena was able to hear part of the performance and
grasp the high quality and energy that the band brought. The minute BOSTON walked on stage and hit
their first note you knew what had kept BOSTON music still a huge game player
and keeping a command on the music today.
The 1970 and 1980s brought huge success for the
band Boston with Tom Scholz as an innovator, composer and lead for the group
that was formed in Boston, Massachusetts.
Sales worldwide reach over 75 million records. The first album was “Boston” and hits that
remain today ranging from the iconic 1976 “More Than A Feeling.” The 40th Anniversary Tour will be
playing the country with over 50 shows in 100 days. Band members at Moondance

Minnesota - “Chicago” the band was the headliner for Friday night at Moondance
Jam 25. They came on to the stage with a
strong entrance and did not stop. The
open-air venue was a perfect evening to a huge crowd that filled every spot
that was available. Earlier “Loverboy”
gave a full energized performance as well “Little River Band” and
“Foghat.” Saturday evening headliner
will be “Boston.”
“Chicago” was a full package with horns,
Keyboard, percussion section and guitars that completed their picture for Rock
‘n’ Roll. The band has been performing
for 50 years with over 100 million records, 36 albums and over 20 Top 10
singles. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
induction took place this April. There
was no holding back as they left the stage Friday evening to thousands of fans
that embraced the high energy that “Chicago” gave. Many of the fans walked away saying “Wow!”
