New York – Flynn the bichon frise wins the prestigious “Best in Show” at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show Tuesday evening.

Madison Square Garden was packed for the final competition of “Best in Show”.  Flynn the bichon frise took the top honors of being the top dog for the 142nd Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.  The small powder-puff dog followed his handler, Bill McFadden flawlessly. Competition was tight and all of the finalists performed beautifully showing why obtaining this title is so prestigious and is considered the Olympics of competition for dogs.

There were two full days of competition leading up to the final round on Tuesday evening at the Gardens.  The final round was narrowed down to Biggie a pug, Border collie - Slick, Ty a giant schnauzer, Sussex spaniel called Bean,  Norfolk terrier named Winston, and regal borzoi-Lucy.

Betty-Anne Stenmark from Woodside, California was the judge that chose the winner.
