Times Square New Years Eve

New York City – Frigid temperatures did not keep revelers from packing Times Square for 2018 crystal ball drop.  The second coldest on record with10-degree temperatures at midnight.  An estimate million people lined the street.  Partygoers had extra layers of clothes, face masks and hand warmers as many came as early as 10 in the morning to secure their positions.  Prior preparations by all New York's finest had tight security covered on the ground and air to give a complete successful evening for welcoming in the New Year.

 

Mariah Carey came back to redeem herself after last year’s performance at Times Square fell short.  This year for New Years Eve 2018 Carey fully redeemed herself with two songs; “Vision of Love” and “Hero.”  Other performances New Years Eve; Andy Grammer, Sugarland, Lauren Alaina, Camila Cabello, Chyno Miranda, Antonique Smith, Nick Jonas, Neil Diamond
