New York -
The snowstorm that hit the East Coast with a punch did not deter the 14th
Annual New York Pet Fashion Show held at the Historic Hotel Pennsylvania. The annual pet show is held to benefit animal
rescue with some of the proceeds going to benefit the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s
Animals. Nearly 750 were in attendance
for the “Global Couture for Animal Rescue” plus hundreds of beautifully
designed couture designed fury friends. Colorful designs with intricate detail
represented cultures from different countries and the United States. Broadway had a special segment as well as
inclusions to the runway were showcased cats and a couple of rats.
Pet Fashion Show was presented by TropiClean.
The Gold Paw Award winners were three from Texas representing Dia de Los
Muertos (Day of the Dead). Their full skeletal
designs were distinctly design from head to toe as they carried their two
Chihuahuas and a Yorkie dressed in full matching outfits. Gregg Oehler is President of Oehler Media and Chairman of the NY Pet Fashion Show.
