Walker, Minnesota – Two-time Grammy Award winner Melissa Etheridge had control of the huge crowd the minute she stepped on stage at Moondance Jam 26.  A delayed start due to a weather-front built up the excitement of having Etheridge perform so when she walked out with her band she was totally embraced by all the energy.  Etheridge had a strong smoky voice and showcased her proficient control of the guitar.  Etheridge has a unique style of syncopated rhythm within her music that kept her fans engaged and displayed her talent.  Etheridge has maintained her strength as a singer-songwriter, musician and activist since she came on the scene in 1988.

Melissa Etheridge came on to the music scene with her self-titled album and has released 14 studio albums.  The most recent released album was in 2016 “MEmphis Rock & Soul.”  Etheridge has 5 Platinum albums with 3 being multi-platinum.  “Ain’t It Heavy” Nominee/work Grammy Award for Best Rock Vocal Female Performance in 1993 and “Come to My Window” in 1995.  View more pictures of Etheridge in Photo Gallery.
