Trace Adkins and Kristin Chenoweth were hosts at the MGM Grand Monday evening Dec. 5, 2011. Fans voted and determined the winners of the American Country Awards 2011. New Artist of the Year, Scotty McCreery talked about balancing going to college and his new music success while his Mother was celebrating her birthday at the Awards night. Toby Keith received the award of Artist of the Decade and closed singing “Red Solo Cup.” The audience all received a red mug that they held high during the performance.
